Minor child drowns in Natore pond

A minor child drowned in a pond in Natore's Baraigram on Monday afternoon.

The dead was Arian, 3, son of Alam Hossain, a resident of Tirail village under Majhagaon union of the upazila.
Local UP member Mostaque Ahmed said the child's mother found him floating on the water in a pond next to their house in the afternoon. He was rescued and rushed to a doctor. The doctor declared the child dead.
