Finance Division Additional Secretary Dr Md Mohiuddin has been appointed as secretary to the Social Welfare Ministry after promotion.
The Public Administration Ministry on Sunday issued a notification appointing him as the new secretary.
Earlier, Social Welfare Ministry Secretary Md Ismiel Hossain was sent on forced retirement last month.
Besides, Chief Adviser's Offices Ashrayan-2 Project's Project Director Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan has been transferred to the Planning Division as its additional secretary while Health Services Division Additional Secretary Miss Kaniz Mawla has been transferred to Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) as additional secretary.
Meanwhile, NGO Affairs Bureau's Director Moyeen Ul Islam, also a joint secretary, has been transferred to Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) as Member-Director while BADC Member-Director Md Ashrafuzzaman has been transferred to NGO Affairs Bureau as its Director on deputation.
Finance Division Joint Secretary Dr Ahmed Ullah has been appointed as director general of the Chief Adviser's Office while Chief Adviser's Office's Joint Secretary Dr Manjurul Islam has been transferred to the IMED as joint secretary and Industry Ministry Joint Secretary Md Shafiqul Islam, also project director of Maheshkhali Economic Zone-3, has been made project director of the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway Construction Project.
Cabinet Division Joint Secretary Md Saidur Rahman, Land Ministry's Joint Secretary Dr Zahid Hossain Ponir, Commerce Ministry's Joint Secretary Dr Farhana Airis and Secondary and Higher Education Division's Joint Secretary Numeri Jaman have been appointed member directing staff (MDS) of the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre in Savar, Dhaka.
