One held with drugs in Kurigram

Police arrested a man along with 30 bottles of Phensedyl and 200 bottles of Iskaf in Phulbari upazila of Kurigram district on Sunday morning.

The arrested man is Mahabur Hossain, 35, son of Baccha Miah, a resident of Gorokmandal village in the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the Kishamot Shimulbari area under Naudanga union in the upazila and arrested the drug peddler with the drugs, said Sanower Hossain, officer-in-charge of Phulbari Police Station.

The arrested man has been sent to Jail through a court after a case was filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act.
