Body of former councilor recovered in Kurigram

Police on Sunday recovered the hanging body of a former municipal councilor in Kurigram's Nageshwari.

The dead Abu Taleb, 46, was a resident of Payradanga village under Nageshwari municipality.
According to police and family, Abu Taleb was addicted to drugs for a long time. He may have committed suicide at some point at night due to mental stress. 

Later, in the morning, family members found his hanging body and informed police. The police came and recovered the body in the morning.

Nageshwari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman confirmed it.
