The 4th T20 Blind Cricket World Cup 2024 will be held in Pakistan from November 21 to December 3 this year. Ahead of the event, the Bangladesh National Blind Cricket Team began practice on November 9 at the Dhanmondi Sports Ground.
Both the Bangladesh Blind Cricket Council (BBCC) and World Blind Cricket Ltd. have confirmed the Bangladesh team's participation in the tournament.
The extended practice session will continue till November 18 at the same venue. During the session, Bangladesh's players will receive training from two world-class coaches from abroad.
The slogan for this year's T20 Blind Cricket World Cup is "Playing with Visionary Spirit," with the final match scheduled for December 3 to coincide with World Disability Day, celebrating abilities and advocating for inclusion. The World Cup matches will be hosted in Lahore and Multan.
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, where each team will play once against all other participating teams. The Bangladesh team is scheduled to reach in Lahore, Pakistan on November 21 and will return home on December 4.
