Two friends were killed and another was injured after a motorcycle hit a roadside wall at Muladi upazila in Barishal district on Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred in the Nomerhat Bazar area of Charkalekhan union in the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Md Shapan Bhya, 30, and Kawsar Hossain, 25, both residents of Charkalekhan union.
It was reported that the driver of the motorcycle lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a roadside wall while the three were heading to their destination. One person died on the spot and other two were critically injured.
The injured were rescued and taken to a local hospital. Later, another victim succumbed to his injuries while being transferred to Dhaka for further treatment.
The other injured person is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.
