Man held with hemp in Rajshahi

Police arrested an alleged top-listed drug peddler with 45 kilograms of hemp from Paranpur area under Chharghat Upazila in Rajshahi district on Friday night.

The arrested person is Yeasin Ali, 45, a resident of the area. 

Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a sudden raid in the village and arrested him with the drugs at around 3.30 am.
 
Later, the arrested person along with the seized goods was handed over to the police after filing a case with Charghat Police Station in this connection.
