Attack on student movement: Hathazari AL leader arrested

Police have arrested a local Awami League leader in Fatehabad area of Hathazari upazila in Chittagong in connection with an attack on students during the recent quota movement.

Hathazari police arrested Mohammad Nasir Ahmed alias Mama Nasir, 40, from the Fatehabad area at 3PM on Friday.

Hathazari Model Police Station OC Habibur Rahman confirmed the arrest, saying that Nasir will be produced before a court on Saturday.
