5 more die, 466 hospitalised with dengue

Five people have died of dengue, while 466 more patients been hospitalised with the Aedes mosquito-borne disease throughout Bangladesh in the past 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services, or DGHS, said as many as 242 were admitted to hospital in Dhaka among the new dengue patients until Friday morning.

In addition, 92 were hospitalised in the Dhaka Division, 20 in the Mymensingh Division, 50 in the Chattogram Division, 43 in the Khulna Division, nine in the Rajshahi Division, one in Rangpur Division, three in the Sylhet Division, and six in the Barishal Division.    —bdnews24.com
