2 held with Yaba tablets in Bagerhat

Police arrested two drug peddlers along with 200 pieces of Yaba tablets at Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat district on Friday morning. 

The arrested men are Sheikh Fakrul Islam, 48, a resident of Perikhali village under Rampal upazila and Azad Sikdar, 40, hailed from Narail district. 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in Mahandra bus stand area under Fakirhat upazila and arrested the duo with the drugs, said Alamgir Kabir, officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Model Police Station. 

A case was filed against the duo under the Narcotics Control Act with the police station, the OC added.
