HC ends hearing writ challenging legality of 15th Amendment

A two-judge bench of the High Court Division on Thursday concluded hearing writ petition challenging legality of the 15th Amendment to the Constitution file by five petitioners including Dr Badiul Alam Majumder.

On the third day, petitioners' lawyer Dr Sharif Bhuiyan made submissions in the bench of Justice Farah Mahbub and Justice Debasish Roy Chowdhury.

Sushasoner Jonno Nagarik (SUJAN) Secretary Dr Baidul Alam  Majumder filed the petition raising question on the legality of the 15th amendment to the Constitution that scrapped the non-partisan caretaker government system.

On the third day, Dr Sharif Bhauiyan concluded his submissions.
