On behalf of Bangladeshi's international recruiting agencies, Howlader Forkanuddin, Managing Director of FS Global Ltd, on Wednesday filed a general diary (GD) against three Malaysian nationals with Paltan Police Station in Dhaka raising allegations of conspiring against the country's manpower sector.
The three Malaysian nationals are Malaysian International Security Organisation for Foreign Nationals (MISOFN) President Datoshree Thaiyagraj, General Secretary Dr Sukmarana NK Nayar (Suich) and Dato Md Noya.
Till the report is filed, registration of the GD was under process, according to Paltan police.
According to the GD, the three persons have recently visited Bangladesh claiming themselves as representatives of the Malaysian government. With the invitation of former Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA) joint secretary general Fakhrul Islam, pro-BNP manpower businessman Khandaker Ashfaq Hossain and a former BAIRA president, they visited Bangladesh.
According to the allegation, they had visited the Paltan Police Station during their visit and discussed about a case filed on charges of human trafficking and money laundering against some Bangladeshi manpower businessmen claiming them as representatives of the Malaysian government.
They had also claimed themselves as close to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and the Home Ministry.
