DU, Tokyo University discuss joint research progs on nuclear science, technology

A four-member nuclear and radiation expert team of Japan led by Prof Takeshi Emoto of Tokyo University met Dhaka University (DU) Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Sayema Haque Bidisha at her office on Wednesday and discussed possibility of launching joint research programmes on nuclear science and technology.

Principal researcher of Japan Atomic Energy Agency Akihiro Sakoda, General Incorporated Association Representative Dr Masashi Kanamori and Tokyo University project researcher Dr Mahmudul Hasan were in the delegation.

DU Engineering and Technology Faculty Acting Dean Prof Dr Upama Kabir and Nuclear Engineering Prof Afroza Shelley were present, among others.
