3-day int'l maritime, offshore expo begins in city

The three-day-long Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo 2024 (BIMOX) kicked off at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on Thursday.

Shipping Adviser Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain inaugurated the event in presence of distinguished guests, foreign diplomats and representatives from the private sector. 

The exhibition will conclude on Saturday, November 9, says a press release issued by Energypac Power Generation Ltd, which  along with other firms is taking part in the exhibition, the country's largest maritime and offshore exhibition, to showcase its products for the visitors. 

Organized by Savor international Limited, the exhibition features stalls related to ship building, ship recycling, offshore oil & gas support, shipping logistic & port, fishing vessels & fishery and process automation. Energypac (an ISO certified company) has put the products of world-famous Chinese brand 'YC DIESEL' on display. Visitors can pay a visit to the stall (Stall number 23-24) and get to know about the products from experienced professionals. 

Mohammad Masum Parvez (Marine Engineer), Chief Business Officer of Energypac Power Generation PLC., said, "As the largest maritime exhibition, BIMOX is a very good opportunity to exhibit products related to vessels and shipping logistics.
