Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Sakib was acquired by Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Guyana Amazon Warriors to play the inaugural edition of the Global Super League.
The tournament will start from November 26. Whether Tanzim will be the part of the tournament is in doubt as Bangladesh will tour West Indies for a full bilateral series at that time.
The tour includes two Test, three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals. Though Tanzim was not part of the Test team, he is considered to make room in ODI and T20 squad.
Guyana Amazon Warriors are scheduled to take on Pakistan Super League (PSL) side Lahore Qalandars in the opening match of the tournament.
The five-team T20 competition also has the representative from Bangladesh as the BPL team Rangpur Riders will participate here.
The tournament also feature Hampshire Hawks (T20 Blast of England) and Victoria (Australia state team).
Each team will play the other once before the top two make the final, on December 7.
The annual event will feature different teams from around the world each year. Providence, Guyana, will be the venue for all the games. —BSS
