3 killed as truck rams motorbike in Satkhira

Three people were killed after a truck smashed their motorcycle on the Satkhira-Khulna highway at Satkhira Sadar upazila early Thursday.

The deceased are Arizul Gazi, 28, son of Akbar Ali Gazi, of Jashore's Jhikargachha upazila; Asadul Islam Fakir, 55, of Satkhira's Tala upazila; and Abdus Selim, 35, son of Abdul Aziz of the same (Tala) upazila.

Two bodies recovered from the spot and one at Sadar Hospital, said Sadar Police Station SI Bishwajit Sarkar.
He said a speeding truck ran over a motorbike, leaving a biker and two pillion passengers killed on the spot at Binerpota BSCIC area on the highway in the early morning.
