The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating allegation of patronising teen groups, money laundering, forgery, acquiring illegal wealth and land grabbing against Md Khan Mohammad Aktaruzzaman, Managing Director (MD) of Online Group.

Online Group has illegally owned tens of thousands of crores of taka by alleged money laundering, forgery, acquiring illegal wealth and land grabbing. According to the confidential documents of a government  agency Lt Gen (sacked) Md Mujibur Rahman, 'was the main stakeholder of Online Properties Business Ltd near Dhaka Cantonment.'
According to the complaint Khan Mohammad Aktaruzzaman is known as the terror of Mirpur DOHS, ECB, Manikadi, Matikata and Bhashantek area under Cantonment Police Station of the capital.

He grabbed land by evicting hundreds of families from their houses and filed false cases against many people.

The land of the martyr's family was forcibly occupied. Syed Mosaddika Diku is the daughter of Syed Siraj Uddin who was martyred in the Liberation War. His family owns a 3-katha plot in South Manikadi, some distance from ECB premises. They bought the land in 2004. A few years ago, the online group grabbed the land.

Feroz Mia, a retired army soldier, told the story of being harassed by the online group after buying land in Dhaka after returning from the United Nations mission.

Swapna Akter's story is more painful. In ECB premises, they bought a land of 12 kathas in 41 shares with several people, which also caught the eye of the online group. To encroach on the land, fraudulently bought 5 shares, then, pressurizing others, to give them the entire plot.

Mohammad Nazim Uddin Bhuiyan, a victim of Akhteruzzamans false case, said, on March 3, 2023 he had an argument with Akhter about a portion of land. After that false cases were filed against him with different police stations in the capital.

After Nazim Uddin exposed the offender at a press conference, Akhter's people wanted to arrest Nazim, using the identity of DB. In this regard, Nazim filed a GD with the Cantonment Police Station on October 21,2023.

After that, a team of Banani DB police arrested Nazim and sent him to the court in an old case and remanded him for five days. Nazim was arrested and was in jail for three months in five other old cases.

At that time, terrorist Aktaruzzaman's forces took over some of Nazimuddin's lands. Four cases were filed against Nazim's employees and his brothers. At one point, on January 11, terrorist Akhter along with his cohorts shot at Nizam.

Aktaruzzaman  became the owner of many houses and plots at Mohammadpur, ECB, Matikata, Manikdi and Bhashantek areas.

According to the complaint filed with the ACC, Akhter purchased luxury houses and flats in Canada and Dubai by laundering money from the country. Despite efforts, Aktaruzzaman could not be contacted over mobile phone. An employee of Akhtaruzzaman picks up phone only to say, "Sir is not at office."

An Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of the Gulshan Division of Police, who did not want to disclose his name, said, "Aktar is known as the patron of Teen Gang in Cantonment, Manikadi and Matikata areas. Investigation against him is continuing."
