Youth dies in Bagerhat road accident

A young man was killed in a collision between two motorcycles in Bagerhat town on Tuesday night.

Three people, including two policemen, were injured in the accident.
The accident took place around 9:30 pm at Khardwar of VIP road in Bagerhat town.

The dead was Tarif Hossain, 27, son of Md Feroze, a businessman of Harinkhana area in the town.

The injured were Mollahat Police Station constables Mahir, Israfil, and motorcycle rider Rubel of Dashani area.

Eyewitnesses said that two motorcycles collided head-on in that area. Four people of two motorcycles were seriously injured. Later, locals rescued them and took to hospital where Tarif died.

Bagerhat Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saidur Rahman confirmed it.
