Olama Mashayekh' rally at Suhrawardy Udyan, severe traffic in surrounding areas

Thousands of people across the country gathered at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Tuesday morning to attend a rally organised by Olama Mashayekh Bangladesh.

The rally started at 9AM, drew a large turnout of madrasa students from various districts. It will end at 1PM.

The large crowd at Suhrawardy Udyan venue caused severe traffic congestion in surrounding area. Vehicles were seen standstill there.
From the early morning, people from different parts of the country started gathering at the venue for joining the rally.
The rally will be attended by 41 Islamic scholars of the country, including Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari, Allama Khalil Ahmad Kasemi, Allama Abdul Hameed, according to a statement sent to media on Sunday.
