70 more expats return from Lebanon 338 repatriated so far: MoFA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said on Monday that a total of 338 Bangladeshis have been repatriated from Lebanon in seven flights and will continues to prioritize the safe return of all willing expatriates from the war-striken country.

"A group of 70 stranded Bangladeshi expatriates arrived safely in Dhaka Sunday night on an Emirates Airlines flight (EK-584), fully funded by the Bangladeshi government," according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The repatriation operation is a joint effort supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
