Fifty-eight more sub-inspector (SI) cadets have been discharged from the Sarda Police Academy for breaching discipline during the training session.

Inamul Haque Sagar, assistant inspector general of police (media and PR) at the Police Headquarters, acknowledged the matter on Monday.

He said these 58 cadets, who were recommended for final appointment, have been dismissed from training at the police academy due to violations of discipline.

The training which started earlier this year was initially scheduled to end on November 4.
Earlier, on October 22, the government dismissed 250 cadet SIs from the academy due to violations of disciplinary codes.
