Student leaders from Jagannath University (JnU) are urgently calling for the expeditious completion of the second campus. They also highlighted critical issues such as the housing crisis, the need for improved cafeteria food quality and the swift punishment of individuals responsible for student harassment.

These demands were voiced during a dialogue meeting with a committee dedicated to addressing student-related concerns, held in the vice-chancellor's conference room on Sunday.

The meeting saw participation from representatives of various student organizations, including the university wing of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), Bangladesh Islami Chhatra  Shibir, the Student Front and the coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement, along with faculty members from the committee.
