Chhatra Odhikar Parishad President Bin Yamin Mollah announced a symbolic hanging of leaders from what he termed "fascist" parties, including the Awami League and Jatiya Party.
The hanging will take place at TSC at 2:00pm on Monday (November 4).
Bin Yamin Mollah made the announcement at a press conference organised under the banner of 'Anti-Fascist Student-Worker Alliance' at Dhaka University's TSC on Sunday (November 3).
He said Awami League president Sheikh Hasina and general secretary Obaidul Quader, Jatiya Party chairman GM Quader and secretary general Mujibul Huque Chunnu, and other fascist leaders will face symbolic hanging.
Bin Yamin Mollah also sought an explanation from BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's Saturday's remarks on banning Jatiya Party.
He asserted that the government must pay heed to people's demands, saying, public uprisings do not follow the law, so actions should be taken outside legal boundaries.
He also said that a government of national consensus or a revolutionary government must be formed.
He further suggested converting the Jatiya Party headquarters and Ganabhaban into memorial museums, adding that the constitution should be amended to dismantle what he called the "fascist system" to prevent further suffering.
