2 friends killed in Kishoreganj road accident

Two friends were killed when their motorcycle hit a roadside tree at Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj district on Sunday. 

The accident took place at 12:00 noon in Mothkhola New Bazar area in the upazila. 

The deceased were identified as Polash, 17, son of Kamal, and Ryad, 18, son of Asad, residents of Charkhama area under Egaroshindur union in the upazila.

Locals said that the driver of the motorcycle lost control of the steering while overtaking an auto-rickshaw, crashing into a roadside tree and leaving the duo dead on the spot. 

Shirin Aktar, local female UP member, confirmed the incident.
