One killed in C'nawabganj road accident

A local singer was killed in a road accident at Gomastapur upazila in Chapainawabganj  district on Saturday night.

The accident took place at around 9:00pm in front of Freedom Fighter Joynal Abedin CNG station on the Rohonpur-Adda regional highway in the upazila. 
The deceased was identified as Abdul Hannan, 45, son of Entaz Ali, a resident of Gouripur village under Boalia union in the upazila. He is known as a singer in the area.
 
It was learnt that Hannan lost control of the steering on his motorcycle and hit a bicycle, critically injured three people, including a couple who were on the bicycle. 

Fire Service personnel rushed to the scene and took the injured to Gomastapur Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctors declared Hannan dead.
