Man stabbed to death in Saver

SAVER, Nov 2: A man was stabbed to death in the town on Friday night.

The deceased was Sushil Rajbongshi, 45, hailed from Saver municipality.

Saver Model thana police held a youth named Gonesh, 22, over the murder. He was a resident of Saver Modhdhopara area.

Additional Police Super (Saver circle) Shahinur kabir said in a press conference.

He said the incident occurred last night in Saver Modhopara area when Sushil was taking tea at a tea stall. Gonesh allegedly stabbed Sushil after exchanging hot words with him.

Sushil Rajbongshi was brought to Enam Medical College and Hospital where the attending doctor declared him dead, the ASP added.    —BSS
