Stop reckless driving

Dear sir,

One horrifying incident after another is happening, and fresh lives are tragically being lost on the roads of Bangladesh. So many dreams and hopes are being shattered, yet no one seems to be aware of the situation. How many more lives will be lost to reckless driving like this? How many talents will we witness dying an untimely death? In this country, there seems to be a constant competition among various vehicles for speed. Who can get ahead of whom, and who can reach their destination the fastest?

Therefore, I appeal to the current interim government's chief adviser and relevant authorities to take initiatives to change the reckless competitive mindset of drivers through training, awareness campaigns to curb speed, and adequate training on traffic laws. It is necessary to properly enforce traffic laws, prohibit the movement of vehicles without licenses and fitness certificates, properly maintain the roads, and enhance the activity of police and mobile courts to prevent road accidents.

Additionally, I urge the media to raise public awareness through necessary campaigns to prevent road accidents. Ultimately, we all need to be as aware as possible in our respective places. Remember, "One accident brings a lifetime of tears."
