Jatiya Nagorik Committee will form committees at thana level.
A directive related to the matter was posted by Jatiya Nagorik Committee convener Nasir Uddin Patwary on his Facebook profile on Saturday (November 2).
The directive states that all the thana level committees of Jatiya Nagorik Committee will be known as "Representative Committee."
All the members of the Representative Committee will be known as "Thana Representative."
Convening Committee will be formed within 60 days after formation of each Representative Committee.
There will be minimum 21 members of the Thana Committee at the district level while there will be minimum 31 members of the City Committee.
All the committees will comprise minimum 25% women, 5% martyred families or injured participant of the mass uprising, 5% minorities, 5% farmers, workers and people belonging to all groups in an area. If the Representative Committees want to turn into Convening Committee, they must fulfill all the crieteria.
Teachers, lawyers, writers, doctors, engineers, journalists, housewives and young men (maximum 50 years of age) in religious matters will have to be coordinated.
The honourable citizens above 50 years of age will work with the Jatiya Nagorik Committee through a consultation committee.
In order to be accommodated to the Thana-level Committee, a member will have to be an inhabitant of that thana.
None from the Awami facism or beneficiary will not be able to stay in the committee. They will have to uphold the spirit of the mass uprising.
It may be mentioned that a 55-member Jatiya Nagorik Committee was floated on September 8 last with Nasir Uddin Patwary as convener and Akhtar Hossain as member secretary.
