Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two women robbers from Faridpur district and seized gold ornaments and cash money from them on Friday night.
The arrested women were Kohinur Begum, wife of Abdul Aziz, hailed from Pirojpur district and Sharina Sultana, wife of Abdul Zalil, hailed from Barguna district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted an operation in Bhanga area in Faridpur district last night and nabbed the women from a residence, an official release said on Saturday evening.
The elite force also seized 49 pieces of gold nose pin, five mobile phones and Taka 1.33 lakh cash from their possession, the release added.
They were handed over to Daulatpur Police Station in Khulna on Saturday.
