Man hacked to death in Savar

A man was hacked to death in Savar on Friday night. 

The deceased was identified as Sushil Rajbongshi, 45, hailed from Saver municipality.

Saver Model thana police held a youth named Gonesh, 22, over the murder. He was a resident of Saver Modhdhopara area.

Additional Police Super (Saver circle) Shahinur kabir said in a press conference on Saturday afternoon.

He said the incident occurred on Friday night in Saver Modhopara area when Sushil was taking tea at a tea stall. Gonesh allegedly stabbed Sushil during an altercation with him.

Sushil Rajbongshi was brought to Enam Medical College and Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, the ASP added.
