One held with Yaba tablets in Netrakona

Joint forces in a drive arrested a drug peddler along with 243 pieces of Yaba tablets at Madan upazila in Netrakona district on Saturday morning. 

The arrested man is Nur Ahmed, 30, a resident of Shahpur villlage under Changau union in the upazila. 

Acting on a tip-off, a team of joint forces, consist of Army and Police personnel, conducted a raid in Madan upazila on Saturday morning. At that time, the law enforcement agencies arrested him from his house with the drugs at Shahpur villlage.    

Imamun Nur, commander captain of Madan Army Camp, said the drug peddler has been handed over to the Madan Police Station.
