Former MP Bodi`s manager Jafar arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the manager of former Cox’s Bazar MP Abdur Rahman Bodi, also known as "Yaba Bodi." 

The arrested man is Jafar, a former chairman of Teknaf Upazila, is listed by the Ministry of Home Affairs as one of the top drug dealers in Bangladesh.
RAB-15’s Senior Assistant Director (Legal and Media), Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Kamruzzaman, confirmed the matter on Friday. 

He said that Jafar was detained in a joint operation by RAB-3 and RAB-15 teams in Dhaka’s Purba Basabo area at around 3 a.m. on October 31.

Kamruzzaman also said that Jafar is being transferred from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar for further processing and investigation.
