Girl electrocuted at Kawkhali

KAWKHALI, PIROJPUR, Nov 1: A minor girl was electrocuted in Kawkhali Upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Fatema Akter, 4, daughter of Zakir Hossain, a resident of Kumiana Ashrayan area under Amrajuri Union in the upazila.
According to the deceased's family sources, the child came in contact with a live electric wire connected with a charger while she was walking in the house at around 7:30 pm, which left her critically injured.

The family members then rescued her and took to Kawkhali Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared the girl dead.
