BSMRSTU-Pirojpur to be ideal university: VC

PIROJPUR, Oct 31: "We are working to build an ideal and advanced university."

Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman  Science and Technology  University (BSMRSTU)-Pirojpur Professor Dr Md Sahidul Islam made this comment at a views-exchange meeting held in his official conference room on Thursday morning. 
"We are working to build the university with academic excellence. We need all sorts of supporting cooperation. We have already started academic activities after completion of admission of students. Students both male and female from all regions of the country have been admitted," he added.  

VC further said, a quality education ensuring all sorts of facilities providing to students is the prime duty of the present management. 

Among others, Registrar Dr Alok Kumar Saha, Dean and Faculty of Science Associate Professor Dr Akhter Hossain, and Chairman of the Statistics Department and Proctor Md Musa Khan were present.
 
Press Club President SM Rezaul Islam Shamim, journalists Moniruzman Nasim, Ziaul Ahsan, SM Parvej, Khaled Hossain Kashuru,  Hasibul Islam Hasan, and Hasan Mamun spoke.

Journalists of both print and electronic media were present.
