Three shops fined in Pirojpur

 
PIROJPUR, Oct 31: Three shops were fined in the district town in a drive on Wednesday noon.

The drive was conducted by Assistant Director (AD) of the National Consumers Right Protection Directorate Debashis Roy along with police and representatives of district food controller and CAB, students, and media men. 
  Three shops were fined  Tk 8,500  for  different irregularities; a street food shop Rashni Fusta was fined Tk 5,000 for using sub-standard materials,  Sagar Store Tk 3,000 for not hanging products list and Green Chilli Shop Tk 500  for price-hiking of green chilli. 

The AD said, the drive and mobile courts will continue.
