3 UPDF men shot dead by miscreant in Khagrachhari

 
KHAGRACHHARI, Sept 30: Three activists of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) were reportedly shot to death by miscreants in Panchhari here on Wednesday. The incident took place around 10:00am on Wednesday in the Shanti Ranjan Para area, according to Mohammad Jasim, chief of Panchhari Police Station.

The dead were Sejon Chakma, Shaman Tripura and Jayen Chakma. The organization's Khagrachhari district organizer Angya Marma confirmed that they were UPDF members.
UPDF District Organiser Angya Marma also confirmed the shooting incident. In response, the regional group has announced a dawn-to-dusk road blockade across the district for Thursday.
