Bangladesh coach Javier Cabrera has announced 16-member initial squad on Wednesday excluding regular captain Jamal Bhuyan for the upcoming FIFA International Friendly Series against Maldives at home in November.
The two matches will be held on November 13 and 16 at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital.
The coach revealed the squad consists mainly of footballers from other teams out of Bashundhara Kings who is currently participating in the AFC Challenge League in Bhutan.
Coach Cabrera will reveal the names of a few more players when Kings' footballers return home.
The national team camp with the 16 footballers will begin from Friday (Nov 1).
