Man crushed under train in M’singh

MYMENSINGH, Oct 30: A man was crushed under a train in Gouripur Upazila of the district on Tuesday. 

The accident took place at Shalihar on the Mymensingh-Gouripur railway track under the upazila in the afternoon.

The identity of the deceased, aged around 45, could not be known immediately.

Quoting locals, Gouripur Railway Police Outpost In-Charge Harun Or Rashid said that a Jaria-bound train from Mymensingh crushed the man at Shalihar on the Mymensingh-Gauripur railway track in the afternoon, leaving him dead on the spot.
 
Being informed, police recovered the body and took it to Mymensingh PBI office to collect fingerprints for identification.
 
Later on, the body was sent to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
