Body of ASI Mukul who goes missing in Kushtia found in Pabna

The body of Kumarkhali Police Station's assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Mukul Hossain, who went missing in fishermen's attack in the river Padma in Kushtia, has been recovered.

His body was recovered from Najirganj area under Sujanagar upazila of Pabna district at about 8:00am on Wednesday (October 30).
Earlier, a diving team of the Fire Service and Civil Defence recovered the body of another ASI Sadrul Hasan from Shilidah Ghat area of Kushtia on Tuesday (October 29) afternoon.

Pabna's Sujanagr Police Station's officer-in-charge (OC) Golam Mostofa said locals witnessed a floating dead body in the river at about 8:00am. Then the dead body was recovered under the joint initiatives of Najirganj Camp Police and Water Police. They later became confirmed that the dead body was of Mukul Hossain, an ASI of Kumarkhali Police Station, who went missing in the river Padma falling from a boat of fishermen in the river Padma.

Kumarkhali Police Station's OC Nazrul Islam said they contacted with Sujanagar Police Station.
