Child dies from electrocution in Pirojpur

A minor child died from electrocution in Pirojpur's Kawkhali on Tuesday evening.

The dead Fatema Akter was the daughter of Zakir Hossain, a resident of Kumiana under Amrajuri union.
According to the family, the child came in contact with a live electric wire connected with a charger while she was walking in their house, leaving her injured.

She was rescued and taken to the upazila health complex where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.

Kawkhali Upazila Health Complex doctor Deepto Kundu said that the child died before being brought to the hospital.
