DU, DMP discuss to launch shuttle bus service on campus

A six-member delegation led by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Khondaker Nazmul Hasan met Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmed Khan at his office on Monday and discussed controlling of public transport movement on the campus.

Besides, they discussed to launch a shuttle bus service on the campus for the university students, determine routes and to set up bars at six entrances.

Prof Niaz said the university authorities have already taken steps to start shuttle bus service on the campus.

He sought support from DMP in various matters including the development of traffic management on the campus.
