BSMRSTU-Pirojpur starts academic activities

PIROJPUR, Oct 29: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU)-Pirojpur held the orientation of first year honours students on Monday at Shaheed Omar Faruk Auditorium in the town. 

Admitted students, teachers, and officials took part in the orientation. The university entered finally into its academic activities. 

Dean of Science Faculty Dr Akther Hossain attended the programme as the chief guest while Chairman of Statistics Department  and Proctor Dr  Md Musa Khan presided over the programme.

Lecturer of Psychology Ria Raihan and Lecturer Rubina Begum Tanjila of Department of   Mathematics jointly conducted the programme.  

Among others, Chairman of Computer Science and Engineering Dr Shohagh Barman, Chairman of Mathematics Department Dr  Md Mosharrof Hossain,  Registrar Dr Alak Kumar Saha, Assistant Professor Dr Ayub Husain, Director of Publication Dr KM Aslam Udin, Acting Chairman of the Psychology Department   Sharmin Akter Nipa, Computer Science and Engineering Department's Tahmidur Raahman Nehal, Mathematics  Department's Nawmi Nawar, Psychology Department's Fariduddin and Statistics Department's Sabbir Mahmud spoke.

On the same day, newly appointed Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Shahidul Islam joined the university.
