The president and secretary of the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia unit of the Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir have come to light on Monday (October 28).
The organization released a statement on social media ‘Facebook page’, commemorating the ‘Paltan Tragedy Day’, and mentioning there the president and secretary name respectively. They observed the ‘Paltan Tragedy Day’ at the ‘Waliullah-Mukaddas’ auditorium adjacent to the campus, the released statement of social media mentioned it.
According to the released statement, H M Abu Musa, a student of the Arabic Language and Literature department of the 2016-17 academic session, has been mentioned as the president of IU Shibir’s unit. Mahmudul Hasan, a student of the Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department of the 2017-18 academic session has been revealed as secretary.
According to the sources, Abu Musa, from Dwipchar village in Dogachi Union under Pabna district, memorized the Quran at Aorangabad Residential Hafizia Madrasa in Pabna in 2007. Later, he completed his primary education at Azizia Nurani International School in Radhanagar Upazila, Pabna. Subsequently, he completed his Dakhil (secondary level) from Pabna Alia (Kamil) Madrasa in 2014 and Alim (higher secondary level) from the Tongi branch of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa in 2016.
Similarly, Mahmudul Hasan from Pakundia Upazila under Kishoreganj district.
Previously, both the president and the secretary have served as the foundation secretary, finance secretary, HRD secretary, and office secretary of the IU Shibir’s unit.
