2 BCL leaders held in city

Police early on Monday arrested two leaders of the recently banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) from the city's Bangshal Thana area in connection with the killing of a pickup driver Yeasin during the anti-discrimination movement.

The arrestees are - 34 No. ward general secretary Md Tanvir, 24, and 36 No. ward general secretary, Md Al Amin Rafique, 26, of the BCL.

Police arrested the duo from the ground at Aga Sadek Road under Bangshal Police Station at 1.15am today. �BSS
