PIROJPUR, Oct 28: Two thieves were arrested along with stolen ornaments and cash money in Kawkhali Upazila of the district.
In a press release, Additional Police Superintendent Md Mukit Hasan Khan confirmed the matter on Sunday evening.
The arrestees are Md Mahfuj Khan, 23, son of Md Aziz Khan, and Md Rakib Hossain, 20, son 20 of Md Khairul Islam, both of Daserkhati Village in the upazila.
Police sources said, on October 23 night from the house of Mizanur Rahman of the village Tk 10,000 and ornaments worth Tkl 2,88, 000 were stolen.
Mizanur Rahman filed a case in the connection with Kawkhali Police Station on October 26, accusing none.
Police using modern technology and trucking mobile conversation identified the thieves and arrested them.
