Body of missing teen recovered from Jamuna river

Rajshahi Fire Service personnel recovered the body of a youth from the Jamuna river in Sirajganj district on Saturday morning, 19 hours after he went missing.

The deceased was identified as Jihad, 15, son of Md Jeweel, a resident of Hossainpur Baganbari area under Sirajganj municipality.
The divers recovered his body around 9:30 am.

Earlier, Jihad went missing in the river near three-cross bar area on Friday afternoon while bathing with his friends.

Later, the body was handed over to his family, said Station Officer of Sirajganj Fire Service.
