Bangladesh meet Afghanistan today

Motivated Bangladesh U-17 national football team meet Afghanistan in their crucial last group B match of the AFC Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers scheduled to be held today (Sunday) at Prince Stadium in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.

The match kicks off at 3 pm (Bangladesh time).

Bangladesh must have to win against Afghanistan with a bigger margin to stay in the fight of group runners-up race in the tournament. Bangladesh has secured six points from three matches from this qualifier in Cambodia.

Earlier, Bangladesh suffered a lone goal defeat to host Cambodia but they bounced back to register a solitary goal win over Philippines. While blanked Macau by 7-0 goals in their third group match.     —BSS
