Narsingdi: Six killed as truck rams autorickshaw

Six people were killed as a running truck rammed a CNG-run autorickshaw at Shibpur upazila in Narsingdi district in early Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened at Poncharbari area on the Monhordi-Shibpur-Itakhola regional road.
Confirming the accident news, Shibpur Model Police Station OC Md Afzal Hossain said six people comprising the autorickshaw driver and passengers killed on the spot. The autorickshaw also got twisted being rammed by the truck coming from the opposite direction. The identities and other details of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Receiving information, Fire Service and police went to the spot and conducted rescue operation.
