The organizers of the highly anticipated Magical Night 2.0 concert, headlined by Pakistani music sensation Atif Aslam, have addressed concerns surrounding ticketing issues and confirmed the events venue.

The concert is set for November 29 at Dhakas Army Stadium.
The controversy emerged late Wednesday when Fardeen Ahmed Cse, a developer, discovered a serious data breach on the website of Ticket Tomorrow, the events official ticketing partner. A Google Drive folder containing the personal detailsincluding names, email addresses, phone numbers, and ticket informationof more than 5,000 concertgoers was inadvertently shared on Facebook, raising alarm among attendees, reports UNB.

In addition to the data breach, speculation about the venue added to the confusion. Several local media outlets reported that tickets for the concert were sold out despite the fact that the Army Stadium had not yet been confirmed as the venue.

On Thursday, Triple Time Communications, the concerts organizer, dispelled the rumors, officially announcing that Army Stadium would host the event. In a statement to UNB and other media, the organizers emphasized their commitment to transparency, addressing the swirling misinformation.

In response to recent rumors circulating in the media regarding the status of venue permissions for our upcoming event at Army Stadium, Triple Time Communications would like to clarify that these reports are entirely false. We have secured all necessary permissions for the event and are committed to providing accurate information to the public, the organizers said in a Facebook post.

Addressing the ticketing data breach, Ticket Tomorrow acknowledged the breach and apologized for the incident.

We encountered an issue where some user and ticket data were accessed without authorization. We sincerely apologize for any concern this may have caused. Rest assured, we have already taken legal action against those responsible and have reinforced our safety measures, the company said.

They further reassured ticket holders that their current bookings are secure and new purchase confirmations will be issued soon.

New purchase confirmation will be issued soon, and your existing purchases are safe! For any queries, please reach out to us via our official Facebook page or WhatsApp at +8801724723612, the statement added.

This concert marks Atif Aslams second appearance in Dhaka this year. The celebrated artist, who began his career as a co-founder of the band Jal in 2002, has earned a loyal fan base in Bangladesh.
