Firearms recovered in Rajshahi

A joint team of Bangladesh Army and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered two firearms and some local weapons from a village in Rajshahi on Monday night.

RAB sources said that the joint team conducted a drive in Jamira Village under Belpukur Police Station (PS) in the metropolis at around 10 pm.
During the drive, the team recovered two one-shooter guns, five knives, 10 Chinese axes and three iron rods in an abandoned condition.

A case was filed with Belpukur PS in this connection and the seized firearms and weapons were handed over to police.
